Don Letts now has two hour long shows each weekend on BBC Radio 6 Music.

You can hear The Don crossing time, space and genres in his usual slot from midnight on Saturdays and now from midnight on Sundays too!

JAIME WINSTONE FRONTS C4 MUSIC SERIES

Jaime Winstone is to front a new Channel 4 music series with Grammy winner Don Letts, showcasing some of the best unsigned artists in the country.

The acts featured are emerging with the assistance of music charity Strummerville, who have previously helped artists such as Mumford & Sons and Jamie T.

Brassneck TV's Strummerville Sessions will air in the Autumn.

KELLY CATES JOINS ITV WORLD CUP TEAM

Brassneck TV's Kelly Cates has joined up with the ITV World Cup presenting team for the duration of the tournament.

Kelly will be reporting out and about in South Africa as the competition progresses.

The final will be held at Johannesburg's Soccer City stadium on 11th July.

SKY ARTS ACQUIRES STRUMMERVILLE DOC

Sky Arts has acquired the UK rights to Brassneck TV's Strummerville documentary.

The film, directed by Don Letts, will air on the channel this summer.

Strummerville tells the story of the Joe Strummer Foundation for New Music and features interviews with Damien Hirst and Billy Bragg.

APPEAL FOR LIVERPOOL FANS' FOOTAGE

The footage is for Walk On, a new film telling the story of Liverpool's historic European journeys.

Brassneck TV films Carnival! and Strummerville will feature at the 2010 North by Northeast Festival in Toronto, Canada this June.

Both films were directed by Grammy winner Don Letts, whose previous credits include PUNK: Attitude and Westway to the World.

DON LETTS AND NASA CHASE THE DEVIL

Brassneck TV have been signed to produce the promo for the latest single from N.A.S.A - a cover of the Max Romeo's classic Chase the Devil.

Don Letts is directing the stop-motion video that marks Brassneck TV's first foray into animation.

The video was ordered by Exposure to form part of their 50 Years of Dr. Martens campaign.

STRUMMERVILLE FILM TO PREMIERE AT SXSW

Strummerville, a Brassneck TV film that highlights the work of the charity set up in memory of the late Joe Strummer, will premiere at the 2010 South By Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas, this March.

Don Letts has directed the documentary which includes contributions from Damien Hirst and Billy Bragg.

DEKAY TAKES BRASSNECK TO THE ESTATES

Brassneck TV are producing the promo for The Estates - the latest offering from North West London rapper Dekay.

With a message of hope for anyone who has been homeless and vulnerable, the track comes from Dekay's first solo album Phoenix Down.

Brassneck TV are producing an EPK to celebrate the 25th anniversary of B.A.D.'s debut album This Is Big Audio Dynamite.

The promo has been ordered by Sony who are reissuing the album in the new year.

UKTV BUYS DON LETTS' CARNIVAL! FILM

UKTV has acquired the UK rights to Brassneck TV's Carnival! documentary.

The film, directed by Don Letts, will play out on Blighty in the new year.

Carnival! tells the history of the annual event in Notting Hill and features interviews with Sir Trevor McDonald, Miquita Oliver and Paul Simonon of The Clash.

Brassneck TV have begun preliminary shooting with DJ/producer Toddla T as he begins work on his next album.

The Sheffield star's debut LP Skanky Skanky included collaborations with Tinchy Stryder and Roots Manuva.

The film looks to capture Toddla as he takes his precocious talent from local to global.

BRASSNECK MAKE STRUMMERVILLE FILM

Brassneck TV are producing a film about Strummerville, the charity set up following the untimely death of Joe Strummer in 2002.

The charity aims to create new opportunities for aspiring musicians, reflecting The Clash frontman's unique contribution to the music world.

Directed by Grammy award-winning filmmaker Don Letts, the film features performance footage and interviews with Strummerville artists, supporters and founders, plus previously unseen footage of Strummer himself.

CARNIVAL FILM SET TO SHINE IN CANNES
16 September 2009

Brassneck TV's Carnival! film is set become one of the star attractions at MIPCOM in Cannes next month, after being selected by leading international TV trade magazine Realscreen as one of its MIP Picks.

Distribution rights to the Don Letts documentary were recently picked up by factual specialists Electric Sky.

Broadcast ran a story about the acquisition.

Brassneck TV's Carnival! is to premiere at the legendary Tabernacle in Notting Hill tonight, on the eve of Europe's biggest street party.

Directed by Grammy winner Don Letts, the film tells the history of the Notting Hill Carnival, featuring interviews with Sir Trevor McDonald, Jazzie B, Norman Jay, Miquita Oliver and Paul Simonon of The Clash.

BRASSNECK TEAM UP WITH ITV SPORT

ITV4 are to broadcast live coverage of the Hillsborough Memorial Game being played at Anfield in aid of the Marina Dalglish Appeal.

The match will see a Celebrity All Stars team take on a Liverpool Legends side in a bid to raise funds for the building of a new radiotherapy unit at University Hospital in Aintree.

The co-production between ITV Sport and Brassneck TV will air on Thursday 14th May at 7pm.

HILLSBOROUGH REMEMBERED TO AIR TONIGHT

The History Channel will tonight air Hillsborough Remembered, a Brassneck TV documentary made in memory of the 96 people who lost their lives as a result of the Hillsborough disaster on 15th April 1989.

The film will be shown at 8pm, on this, the 20th anniversary of the disaster.

DON LETTS TOURS WITH THE JD SET

Brassneck TV's Don Letts is hitting the road with The JD Set as he joins acts Little Boots, Howling Bells, Esser and Kids In Glass Houses in a string of gigs across the UK.

The legendary DJ and filmmaker is curating the tour which kicks off tonight as he collaborates with pop princess Little Boots in Manchester.

The JD Set will be aired later this month on Channel 4.

BBC Radio 5 live are to broadcast a documentary to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster.

Narrated by Kelly Cates, Hillsborough Stories will focus on the first hand accounts of those who were at Hillsborough on 15th April 1989.

The Brassneck TV production will air on Easter Sunday at 7pm on both BBC Radio 5 live and BBC Radio Merseyside.

CHANNEL 4 TO AIR TONY CHRISTIE: MADE IN SHEFFIELD

Channel 4 are to air Brassneck TV's music documentary Tony Christie: Made In Sheffield.

Directed by Don Letts, the doc received plaudits at the opening night of the recent Sheffield Doc/Fest.

It will air on Friday 20th February and is repeated on Thursday 26th February.

Brassneck TV's Tony Christie: Made In Sheffield will premiere this evening at the opening night of the Sheffield Doc/Fest.

The documentary presents a portrait of Tony Christie, from never before seen home movie footage to the crazy process of recording his new album, featuring songs written by Jarvis Cocker, Arctic Monkeys, The Human League and Richard Hawley.

BRASSNECK TO SHOOT VIDEOS FOR 'BORN TO CRY' AND 'LOUISE'

Brassneck TV have been signed by Decca / Autonomy to produce the videos for Tony Christie's forthcoming singles - Born To Cry and Louise.

Born to Cry was written by Jarvis Cocker and Richard Hawley, and both tracks come from Christie's forthcoming album.

Don Letts will direct the promos.

HISTORY ORDER HILLSBOROUGH FILM
6 August 2008

Brassneck TV have been commissioned by The History Channel to make a documentary marking the 20th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster, which saw 96 Liverpool fans lose their lives.

Hillsborough Remembered will speak to the relatives of those who died, survivors, players and the then manager of Liverpool FC, Kenny Dalglish, to discuss the events of 15th April 1989.

The film will be directed by John Osborne and exec produced by Kelly Cates.

Brassneck TV have been commissioned by Autonomy Music Group to make a film about the life and times of Tony Christie as the legendary crooner embarks on the production of his new album, with songs written by with Richard Hawley, Jarvis Cocker, The Human League and Arctic Monkeys.

Tony Christie: Made In Sheffield will be directed by Grammy award-winning filmmaker Don Letts.

MTV TAKE SECOND-WINDOW ON BRASSNECK DOC

MTV have taken second-window UK rights on Brassneck TV's Love Music Hate Racism documentary.

The film will air across the network from 6th June.

3DD Entertainment have picked up the international distribution rights to the doc.

Channel 4 will tonight air Love Music Hate Racism, a film taking a look at the evolution of the Rock Against Racism movement and featuring performances from The Clash, The Good, the Bad and the Queen, Hard-Fi and The View.

The co-production between Brassneck TV and Pulse Films has been given Pick of the Day in The Guardian and The Independent.

The film has been directed by Don Letts and Giorgio Testi and exec produced by John Osborne and Thomas Benski.

AUDIO BULLYS TEAM UP WITH BRASSNECK

Brassneck TV have been signed by Southern Fried Records to produce the video for the Audio Bullys next single - Gimme That Punk.

Audio Bullys reached number 3 in the UK singles chart in 2005 with Shot You Down.

BRASSNECK SECURES LOVE MUSIC HATE RACISM RIGHTS

Brassneck TV have secured the exclusive television rights to the Love Music Hate Racism Carnival taking place at Victoria Park on April 27th.

A huge concert will see performances by Damon Albarn and The Good, the Bad and The Queen, Hard-Fi, The View, Reverend and the Makers, and Jerry Dammers of The Specials.

The live event will coincide with the 30th anniversary of the legendary 1978 concert, which saw The Clash perform to 100,000 people.
