HILLSBOROUGH MEMORIAL MATCH
More than 25,000 fans flocked to Anfield for this Hillsborough memorial match as a Liverpool Legends side bossed by Kenny Dalglish took on an All Stars team managed by Ricky Tomlinson and Jamie Carragher. Liverpool greats Dalglish, Ian Rush and John Aldridge all found the net as the Legends won 3-1 on a wonderful night at Anfield. The match raised money for the Marina Dalglish Appeal, which will be put towards a new radiotherapy centre at University Hospital in Aintree. Kelly Cates co-presented the co-production between ITV Sport and Brassneck TV. Status: completed programme
